SOCIAL: A BOOK BY ITS COVER

A persons physical appearance serves as some sort of an insurance that he or she would and could continue to deliver value to a relationship.  By looking and striving to look, "hot," people assure those that they are involved with that there will be a continuity of the delivery of said value.  And this value is what people can physically see in the person providing the value.  It depends on the receptor how he or she would interpret this non verbal communication but really the objective is that the recipient feel greatful.  Through positive feelings the relationship can progress and develop to something that can be cherished.
